Рассматриваются социокультурные аспекты фотографического автопортрета «селфи», который исследуется в ракурсе проблематики DIY (Do It Yourself). В XXI веке практики DIY реализуются не только в сфере материального, но и в значительной степени в сфере виртуального. Селфи представляет собой один из способов современного выражения культуры DIY, который заключается в создании медийного образа «Я» и собственной «реальности» своими руками.
Is devoted to the sociocultural aspects of photographic selfportrait which is examined through the prism of Do It Yourself principle. The author underlines that in the 21st century, this type of practices is represented both in material and virtual spheres of culture and argues that selfie represents a special type of practice that involves producing the media image of the self and personal reality with one’s own hands.
